UX Designer - content design (remote)

Redstone Wilder Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
