UX Designer - content design (remote)

Harborlight Umber Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Denver presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
