UX Designer - content design (remote)

Highbridge Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Little Rock presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
