UX Designer - content design (remote)

Westbrook Iron Insurance Associates is an insurance company in Richmond with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
