UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bluepeak Nest Markets serves neighbourhoods around Honolulu with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
