UX Designer - content design (remote)

Lumen Analytics serves neighbourhoods around Cincinnati with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
