UX Designer - content design (remote)

Cedar Corner Medical designs and makes medical devices in Miami, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
