UX Designer - content design (remote)

Nova Corner Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the San Jose area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
