UX Designer - content design (remote)

Cedar Timber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Birmingham, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of about 866 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
