UX Designer - content design (remote)

Lumen Harbor Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Minneapolis design routes and schedules, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
