UX Designer - content design (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Charlotte with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
