UX Designer - content design (remote)

Westbrook Hollow Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
