UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Linden Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
