UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Yarrow Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
