UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ember Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
