UX Designer - content design (remote)

Westbrook Corner Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in benefits enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
