UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bluepeak Corner Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Wichita. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
