UX Designer - content design (remote)

Highbridge Fern Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
