UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Bright Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 62 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
