UX Designer - content design (remote)

Redstone Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Houston serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
