UX Designer - content design (remote)

Stonegate Keystone Arts Center is an arts centre in Charlotte with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
