UX Designer - content design (remote)

Foxglove Sable Community Partners runs community programmes across Houston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
