UX Designer - content design (remote)

Fernwood Pike Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
