UX Designer - content design (remote)

Nova Maple Community Partners runs community programmes across Nashville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
