UX Designer - content design (remote)

Westbrook Cedar Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Baltimore serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around fraud alerts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in fraud alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
