UX Designer - content design (remote)

Clearpath Thistle Insurance Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
