UX Designer - content design (remote)

Westbrook Wilder Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Richmond. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
