UX Designer - content design (remote)

Harborlight Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Des Moines serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
