UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bluepeak Summit Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Omaha, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
