UX Designer - content design (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Arts Center Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
