UX Designer - content design (remote)

Fernwood Linden Banking Services is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
