UX Designer - content design (remote)

Northwind Willow Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
