UX Designer - content design (remote)

Amberfield Vale Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
