UX Designer - content design (remote)

Summit Drift Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Birmingham, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
