UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Amber Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
