UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bright Ridge Learning Group is an education provider in Charleston serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 135 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
