UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bright Sable Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Little Rock plant. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around paper stock that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in paper stock. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
