UX Designer - content design (remote)

Westbrook Cobalt Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around San Jose. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
