UX Designer - content design (remote)

Northwind Glen Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Wichita, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
