UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Clear Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
