UX Designer - content design (remote)

Nova Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Baltimore, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
