UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Clear Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
