UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bright Logistics is a Boston charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
