UX Designer - content design (remote)

Highbridge Sparrow Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
