UX Designer - content design (Providence, RI)

Rivermark North Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Providence, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
