UX Designer - content design (Providence, RI)

Greenridge Juniper Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
