UX Designer - content design (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Bright Fox Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
