UX Designer - content design (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Hollow Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
