UX Designer - content design (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Timber Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
