UX Designer - content design (Phoenix, AZ)

Ironwood Yarrow Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Phoenix serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
